Art Hartselle grew up in Seminole and attended both Seminole Middle School and Seminole High School. He graduated from the University of South Florida in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.  Hartselle & Associates was established on March 30, 1981 after his graduation.  Art’s agency was started with Art as the sole employee.  He began marketing by himself to clients he landscaped for as a means to support himself during college.  After 27 years, Art’s agency has grown to a staff of 18 led by Art and office manager Sharon Murphy.  Sharon began her insurance career as a State Farm sales agent in 1975.  She joined Hartselle & Associates as office manager in 2002.
